It was on Tuesday that the class monitor decided to have a party for the whole class to get to know each other well. I registered without any hesitation! I wanted to know more people in class and actually make some close friends. A lot of the classmates joined and we met at IFL at 8am the next morning. We rode to to Wattanak's house and gosh, he said his house was empty but actually it was a huge villa. Everyone was shocked! We sang Karaoke and prepared food. I was the one in charge of cutting vegetables and it was fun because it was like playing which in khmer is "leng bai lok bai lor". Others cut the beef, wash the seafood, and set the fire. We talked, we teased, we laughed all the way in the kitchen. It was so fun! I enjoyed it so much. Then we prepared everything on the front yard of the villa and started grilling, eating, and laughing. The guys were so funny and they kept teasing each other about the day on ISE class that some guys had to sing a song to make up for not doing homework. DaDa is the guy who made everyone burst out laughing for singing high pitch of Sapun MiDaDa song and that's why he got this nickname. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier at around 1pm because I was out since early morning.
I felt so relieve now! I do. Finally, I made some friends and they are very nice to me. I am pretty sure that we will get to know each other more and more. :) One thing really caught my attention was that since I started at IFL, I have been asked for several times whether I have boyfriend and they were seriously shocked to hear the answer "No". I am so curious. Is that weird? Hehe..
Did I mention that the monitor printed everyone a list of all the classmate's phone number and email address? Dang, there are more than 30 students in the list and I could barely remember who for who. I sat in class during break time to memorize the list and wrote down tiny words beside each name for how the owner looked like. Haha.. You would want to take a look at it! So what else did I not mention? Um, so I guess that's it for now. More is yet to come ^^
